As previously announced, AVI is soliciting submissions for its Biennial International Conference from professionals regarding their practices with adults as well as from adults with hearing impairment describing their unique needs.
Additionally, Auditory-Verbal International, Inc.® is currently soliciting input, feedback and ideas from each Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist® actively working with adults regarding their experiences working with the adult population and their ideas of how best to serve this population’s needs. On the basis of your feedback, AVI will begin to develop a protocol to establish a code of best practices. AVI seeks a widespread and collaborative process; as this a relatively new area, an intensive collaborative process is appropriate and mandated. AVI welcomes any comments or suggestions that active practitioners may have.
