As part of its strategic planning process, in February, 2004, AVI fielded an Internet-based survey to the membership. AVI web site visitors were also invited to participate. The survey was administered by Stern Consulting International and Amherst H. Wilder Foundation with qualitative analysis is by Alisa Jenkins, Springboard Business Strategies. There were 206 individual respondents.
